Spent a few unforgettable days in Taormina, and let me tell you—it is the absolute jewel of Sicily! From the moment you arrive, this place completely steals your heart. It’s so full of charm that the hardest part of the trip was actually leaving.

If you are coming by train, be prepared: the town is perched high up on a hill. It’s a steep 30-minute walk from the train station to the top, but trust me, it is 100% worth every single step!

Once you’re up there, you are rewarded with breathtaking views of the sea dotted with ships, the historic ancient amphitheater, and a magnificent view of Mount Etna—which is so grand it stays snow-capped even during the hot summer months!

Whether you’re looking for a place to relax, go for beautiful scenic walks, or indulge in some of the best food you will ever eat in your life, Taormina has it all.
